When I built this blog in mid 2014, I wore a lot of pink. I had pink nails and my flat had pink bedding and pink cushions. I gave my graphic designer friend Tim the brief of creating a ‘girly’ logo appropriate to my personality, and the result was the following. I absolutely loved it and quickly added to my blog, and plastered it all over my social media accounts:

But a lot can happen in two years. I now have a ‘neutral’ wardrobe, neutral nails, neutral house. Neutral meaning shades of grey, brown, black and white. I like a ‘classy’ and elegant look rather than a bright one, and thought my blog should now reflect that. I took my graphic designer friend Tim’s logo and created an updated version, including a photo of a ‘real’ road rather than the cartoon paths in the original logo:
